The Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech has always been a populair destination, but since the uprising of Instagram this famous botanic garden of Yves St. Laurent is now completely dominated by the self-photographing person. It has become one of the most famous Instagram locations of North Africa. Next to the Jardin, the new Yves Saint Laurent museum opened in 2017, attracting even more people.
Visitors are busy with their phones, selfie sticks, chargers, special outfits for the occasion, and the big question: which filter to choose for their insta-highlight.
